Cabin Materials and Styling
The new Volvo XC60 has a posh interior with refined Scandinavian styling and rich materials. Nordico synthetic leather seats are standard, but Nappa leather upholstery is available. Cedar Park drivers will like the niceties available in higher trims, such as wood trim or a crystal gear selector knob.
The new Audi Q5 also has a nice cabin, but it has more of an understated vibe. Many people feel that there is too much fingerprint-gathering piano black trim in the Q5's interior.
The new Lexus NX has a well-built cabin with mostly high-quality materials, but it's not quite as opulent as the Volvo XC60's interior.
Cargo Space

Leg Room

Volvo understands this, so the Volvo XC60 is endowed with plenty of head- and legroom in both rows of seats. Front-seat passengers get 41.5 inches of legroom, while those in the backseat enjoy 38 inches of space to rest their legs.
The Audi Q5 has just 40.9 inches of front legroom and 37 inches of legroom in the back.
The Lexus NX has 41.0 inches of front legroom, but only 36.1 inches of rear legroom.
Performance
Power and Efficiency
If you'd like good fuel efficiency without sacrificing power, you'll love the Volvo XC60. Its turbocharged, mild-hybrid four-cylinder engine makes 247 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain delivers all the power you need for merging onto highways near Leander, while also earning 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
The Audi Q5's four-cylinder engine produces 268 horsepower, but it only returns 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
The Lexus NX's standard four-cylinder powerplant only generates 203 horsepower, although it achieves 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
Value
Starting Price and Standard Features
The new Volvo XC60 gives you more value for the money than its competitors. Its starting MSRP is just over $49,000, and it comes standard with all-wheel drive.
The new Audi Q5 also comes standard with all-wheel drive, but its entry-level price is over $52,000.
The new Lexus NX undercuts the Volvo XC60 with a starting price that's just over $40,000. However, all-wheel drive is optional on the Lexus NX, and it has a smaller infotainment touchscreen and fewer standard safety features.
